This Tuesday, we want to celebrate the remarkable variety of people across Liverpool and the Liverpool city region who come together to support young people - each bringing something unique, valuable and deeply impactful.
To the mentors who offer guidance and a listening ear...
To the employers who provide opportunities and believe in potential...
To the youth workers, community leaders, and outreach teams who show up every day in neighbourhoods across the region...
To the trainers and tutors helping young people build new skills...
To the volunteers giving their time, kindness, and encouragement...
To the support workers helping individuals navigate real challenges...
To the people with lived experience who inspire others through their own journeys...
And to every partner, organisation, and colleague playing even a small part in helping someone move forward - today is for you.
Our work is only possible because of this diverse community of people. Individuals from different backgrounds, roles, industries, and walks of life - each bringing their own strengths, perspectives, and passion. Together, you create a powerful network of hope and opportunity for young people who need it most.
It's this mixture of talents, skills, and experiences - from boardrooms to classrooms, workshops to offices, community centres to bustling workplaces - that makes the Liverpool City Region such a special place. A place where people genuinely care, step up, and make sure no young person is left behind.
Your collective efforts don't just open doors to employment, training, and new possibilities - they help young people feel seen, valued, and capable of building a brighter future for themselves.
So today's Tuesday Thank you goes to all of you: the varied, dedicated, compassionate people who make the extraordinary happen through ordinary actions every single day.
Thank you for everything you contribute.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Thank you for shaping futures across our region.
